Editor’s Note
May infinite praise and salutations be upon Allah, who adorned the earth with humanity and sent prophets from time to time to guide them to the right path. Salutations and peace be upon the last link in the chain of prophets, the most virtuous of Adam's descendants, and the prophet of jinn and humans, Hazrat Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. Hazrat Adam, the first human created and simultaneously the first prophet; and the last of the prophets is Hazrat Muhammad, peace be upon him. Between these two, many prophets were sent as messengers and bearers of tidings. These honorable beings were supported by miracles, honored by angels, and informed by revelation and inspiration. Their hearts were the source of divine inspiration, and their intellects and levels of comprehension were of the highest degree. There is as great a difference in value between them and ordinary people as between jewels and pebbles. The noble prophets are perfect humans, truthful in essence and word, the most valuable and intelligent of people, worthy of trust in all matters, who convey the commands they receive from the Truth exactly and completely to the people, and who are far from committing sins by nature and creation. The prophets, who showed patience and endurance in the face of the hardships they encountered while fulfilling their prophetic duty, never hesitated to convey the commands of Allah Almighty to the people, even if they realized their lives were in danger. Although there are common characteristics between prophets and other people in terms of outward appearance, the beauty and virtues they possessed in their inner selves are clear evidence that they are distinguished individuals chosen by Allah. Our Creator, who is the source of judgment and wisdom, created the prophets with exceptional qualities to act as intermediaries between His divine essence and His servants. They possessed hearts illuminated with divine lights, seeing truths as they are. The prophets, elevated to the pinnacle of knowledge by divine revelation, always stayed away from sin. Because "divine attraction" always pulled them towards the right path and the path of truth. Allah Almighty, the true protector, was their ally and helper. When prophets were at the beginning of an endeavor, they contemplated its end in length, breadth, and depth, and reached beneficial conclusions. Although they did not study with anyone, their speech, which amazed scholars, their reception of divine revelation, and their adherence to the straight path protected them from all kinds of wrong actions. Esteemed reader, this booklet in your hand has been written with the thought that it will help us to avoid statements that contradict religious principles as well as sound reason, and to have a correct belief about the prophets. Careful reading is from you, and success and divine help are from Allah Almighty. This book examines the lives and teachings of the prophets in detail. Presented in colorless.
